It only takes the thought of sunshine, flowers and the green of spring, to put a bounce in the step of many a Michigander. Coming out of the winter grays we all feel a bit more energy to bring attention to those things that improve our lifestyles, our relationships, and our health.


Spring can be a natural reliever of stressors that we can use to jumpstart new patterns of behaving. It’s not a surprise that April is National Stress Awareness Month. It might be a surprise though that certain types of stress are actually good for us.
