Our specialized Psychiatric Prevention Services are designed to support AFC providers and their residents in times of crisis and provide proactive interventions to promote mental health and well-being.
How to Access Help
AFC staff can access our Community Outreach for Psychiatric Emergencies (COPE) services 24 hours a day by calling the main COPE number or contacting our AFC-specific telephone line at 1-833-AFC-3004. When reaching out to us, you will be connected with a licensed clinician who is trained to provide immediate assessment of the situation and dispatch the appropriate services.

On-Site Assessment: We commit to providing on-site assessments within 2-hours of your request, ensuring timely support for individuals in crisis.

On-Site Follow-Up Services: Our Mobile Stabilization Team offers on-site follow-up services to reduce the escalation of crises and prevent future incidents.

Staff Coaching: We provide on-site coaching to AFC staff on behavioral management and de-escalation techniques to better handle challenging situations.

Short-Term Respite: Residents in need of short-term structure away from the home can access our Crisis Stabilization Unit (CSU) for respite care.

24-Hour Access to Psychiatric Evaluations: Our CSU offers round-the-clock access to psychiatric evaluations and medication administration to ensure comprehensive care for residents in crisis.
