Who is this service intended for:
Adults 18 Years and Older in a behavioral health crisis that will based on the presenting symptoms and complex needs, would likely require services that exceed 5 hours to either be alleviated or to coordinate continued sub-acute or acute care services.

Criteria for Admission:

18 years of age and older
-
Vital medical measures/medical conditions or injuries are within the capability of the site to safely manage

Expectation that the presenting problem will not be resolved in 5 hours or less but will be resolved within 72-hours
-
Individual served can be voluntary or involuntary
-
Alcohol screening are for individuals with a BAL under 0.30
